DVS Bullpen 3.0 Featuring Workload Management for Pitchers

One of the newest features of the DVS Bullpen 3.0 is safely and effectively manage a pitcher's workload. DVS Bullpen 3.0 allows users to determine when, how much, how far, and at what intensity your pitchers should be throwing. The workload management logic is built off five years of tracking health, recovery, and performance across professional pitchers.

Our goal with the release of 3.0 is to help coaches understand the role mechanics, recovery, and pitch counts play on their pitchers' availability. With simple, easy-to-use logic, a coach can individualize a pitcher's throwing program and adjust for daily fluctuations in usage, soreness, and recovery. And, if there is every a question on one or multiple pitchers, a DVS Bullpen coach will help guide you.

The process to get started begins with “making the call to the bullpen” to where DVS Baseball will meet to discuss your goals and provide a demo of the software. Many of the features within DVS Bullpen can be tailored to suit your needs. After approval, DVS Baseball will begin the steps to onboard your organization or team. Your DVS Bullpen license will grant you the following features.

DVS Baseball

DVS Baseball, which stands for Delivery Value System, was created in light of the current epidemic of throwing-related injuries in the game of baseball.  The surgery rate among pitchers has continued to rise over the past decade due to various culture-related factors, including an increased emphasis on throwing velocity, college scholarships, and year-round playing.  In an effort to find answers as to why some pitchers get hurt and others do not, we began a formal study that analyzed mechanical patterns from past and current MLB Pitchers. Our research, now published in Orthopedics Medical Journal, continues to evolve to help MLB Organizations understand a pitcher’s true value. Additionally, we implement the DVS Baseball pitching development program for pitchers to extend their longevity, decrease injury risk, and maximize performance in games. .
