• Justin Orenduff

    FOUNDER, PRESIDENT

    Justin is the founder of the DVS Baseball and creator of the DVS Scoring System. The scoring system was built as a product of Justin’s pitching career, research into throwing patterns among pitchers, and hours of testing and validating the scoring system over a 5 year period.

    Aside from the ongoing development of the DVS System and Model, Justin serves as the Director of Baseball Operations for the United Shore Professional Baseball League.

    Justin was an All-American pitcher at both George Washington University and Virginia Commonwealth University. He was a member of the 2003 USA Collegiate National Team and a 2004 first round draft pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

    After his playing career, Justin returned to Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009 and earned his B.S. in Business Management. Justin resides in Royal Oak, MI with his wife Shahrzad and his son Dean.

  • Josh Myers

    CO-FOUNDER, DIRECTOR OF STATISTICS

    Josh is co-founder of DVS Baseball and serves as the Director of Statistics. He leads the development team for the DVS injury risk (IR) model and the DVS Bullpen. Josh’s passion is using analytics to provide actionable ways to better the game of baseball.

    Josh graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2005 with a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics all while being a member of the D-1 baseball team. He then earned a Master of Science degree in Statistics in January 2007, also from the University of Virginia. Josh has also been a statistical consultant since 2013 in the field of real estate mass appraisal.

    Josh is husband to Sarah and father to Abigail and Annalise. He serves as Young Adult Coordinator at his local church.

  • Bill Leisenring

    CTO

    Bill joined the DVS team in 2020 as our Chief Technology Officer.  A proven technologist and entrepreneur having co-founded Control-Tec in 2009.  Control-Tec’s mission was to leverage vehicle data to help manufacturers launch vehicles with high quality and low warranty costs.  Control-Tec was extremely successful working with several major OEMs in passenger and commercial vehicles in six continents.  Control-Tec was sold to Delphi in 2015.  Bill remained as the CTO of the Connected Services division through 2019.

    Outside of work, Bill enjoyed coaching baseball throughout his son’s youth.  He has experience coaching from tee ball through high school with a lot of experience studying pitching.

    Bill has a MSEE from The Ohio State University where he was a Center for Automotive Research fellow and a BSEE from Michigan Technological University.
